Landscape Finance in IDH

The Landscape Finance team is part of the Landscapes Business Unit. The team consist of seven people based in the Netherlands and works closely with colleagues and investment leads based in IDH offices in Brazil and Indonesia and a number of IDH landscape countries in Africa. As a Program Manager you will report to the Senior Program Manager Landscape Finance.

To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Assistance Facility Project Lead, who will in close consultation with project developers, partner funds and colleagues design, contract and manage technical assistance projects.
As Technical Assistance Facility project lead, you identify and work with (potential) project developers and companies in Asia, Latin America and Africa to get them investment ready and maximize their positive social and environmental outcomes. You will be responsible for independently managing projects from start to finish:

- coordination between the project developer, the IDH Partner Fund and their ESG team;

- ensuring high quality delivery and timely implementation of technical assistance projects through IDH implementing partners and consultants.

As a member of the team, you will also support business development and identify, manage, and expand existing and new partnership opportunities for IDH Landscape Finance and work with the team to develop programmatic workplans and reports to stakeholders in the various Technical Assistance Facilities governance structures under management, such as boards, donors and strategic partners.

You have experience managing projects focused on achieving social and environmental impact in a private sector context in Africa, Latin America and/or Asia. You also have a proven deep understanding of, and preferably experience in, the role that grants and technical assistance can play in conjunction with impact investing in companies to achieve inclusive rural livelihoods, sustainable agriculture and restoration and protection of natural resources at scale.
You are an energetic, resourceful, hands-on character who operates in an agile manner, also when it comes to changing priorities, taking appropriate initiative and bringing others along. Working in a results-oriented and efficient manner, you know how to drive the process and set priorities.
